Founded in 1979, the Maryland Troopers Association (MTA) is dedicated to supporting the men and women of the Maryland State Police through professionalism, advocacy, and service. The MTA works to strengthen communication between members and leadership while providing valuable benefits such as legal representation, legislative support, scholarships, and death relief for troopers, civilian personnel, and retirees.
Today, the MTA proudly represents a strong community of active and retired members across Maryland through its network of local lodges.
